Vinyl catheters have been cut approximately 1" above the funnel connector (see photo). Simply snap the clear catheter tube away from the colored funnel, allowing the funnel to fall to the bottom of the bag. Pry the introducer tip off and pour the sample into a collection device provided by your clinician. Red rubber catheters can be removed by firmly pulling the catheter entirely out of the bag, through the introducer tip. After catheter removal, pry the introducer tip off and pour the sample into a collection device provided by your clinician.
